Book a visitSukoon brings the ritual of the Moroccan hammam to Tripoli. For centuries, the hammam has been where Moroccans go to slow down, to cleanse, to catch up with friends and to mark life's big moments. We keep the ritual the way it should be: unhurried, generous and warm.
Every visit begins in the steam. Black soap made from olives softens the skin, the kessa glove lifts away everything the week left behind, and rhassoul clay from the Atlas Mountains leaves you clean and soft. We finish with argan oil and the scent of orange blossom, then give you time to rest before you step back outside.
Come for an hour to yourself, a morning with the people you love, or the days before your wedding. From the moment you arrive, you're in good hands. Come as you are; leave lighter.

I grew up with a passion to make a difference in society, so my first step was studying journalism before discovering that establishing a Moroccan hammam was something I truly wanted to pursue. The steam, the black soap, the laughter during rituals all have the power to cleanse the toxins we accumulate during rough days. I founded Sukoon by Rona because I couldn’t find a real hammam here, so I built one myself. I want every guest to experience what it feels like to go through authentic Moroccan hammam rituals. Come and visit us. The steam is ready.

A traditional Moroccan steam bath. You relax in warm steam, your skin is softened with black soap and exfoliated from head to toe with a Kessa glove, then rinsed and finished with clay and argan oil. It cleans deeply, and it's one of the most relaxing things you can do for yourself.
We explain each step before we start, and you can ask us to adjust anything, from the warmth of the room to the pressure of the scrub. Most first-timers are surprised by how relaxing it is.
Just yourself. We provide a robe, slippers, towels and disposable underwear and everything used in the ritual. You may want a hairbrush and a change of clothes, and it's best to leave jewelry at home.
Plan on about 90 minutes for the Traditional Hammam and 120 minutes for the Royal Ritual, plus a little time to rest afterwards. Each ritual's length shows when you book online.
Heat and steam aren't right for everyone. If you're pregnant, have heart or blood-pressure problems, or a skin condition, please check with your doctor first and tell us when you book. We'll suggest what suits you.
Avoid waxing, shaving or tanning for 24 hours before a scrub, eat lightly and drink plenty of water. Afterwards, give your skin a few days before you exfoliate again.
Book online here any time or message us on WhatsApp. To change or cancel, please tell us at least [24 hours] before your appointment.
